Equality Act 2010
Overview
This course will give you a background to the development of the Equality Act 2010. It will examine who it affects and what it does. It will cover the duties of public bodies and how they can ensure fairness in the workplace. How to increase diversity in the workplace is covered as is the new protection for carers and women breast-feeding. The course also covers the subject of inclusive design and the evacuation of disabled people in the event of an emergency.
