First Aid Training | Training | Course
A 4 day course to provide candidates with the necessary knowledge/skills of first aid to enable them to provide first aid to the current Health and Safety Executive Standards, within the working environment.
Programme:
• Aims of First Aid, hygiene and organs of the body
• The respiratory system
• Causes of and treatment of asphyxia
• Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
• The circulatory system
• Wounds and their treatment
• The nervous system
• Management and causes of unconsciousness
• The Skeletal System
• Fracture management
• Causes of and Dealing with burns
• Dealing with foreign objects in the body.
• Sudden illness in the workplace
• Moving casualties
• Legislation affecting first aiders in the workplace
