Objective:  
To provide delegates with the necessary skills, knowledge and safe  working practices to enable them to understand the function, methods  of programming and the ability to carry out program parameter adjustments .

Course Duration: 
4 days                                                                    

Pre-course requirements:

Delegates do not necessarily need any previous PLC knowledge but  should have an industrial background and an understanding of work place health & safety.
   
PROGRAMME:

• Basic PLC architecture
• Ladder logic, latching circuits
• Timers, counters and shift registers
• Input and output blocks
• Analogue and digital inputs and outputs
• Simple programming
• Fault finding

Outcomes: 
Successful completion of the course will result in the issue of a SETA certificate of completion.
