Introduction to Programmable Logic Controllers (Plc) | Training | Centre
Objective:
To provide delegates with the necessary skills, knowledge and safe working practices to enable them to understand the function, methods of programming and the ability to carry out program parameter adjustments .
Course Duration:
4 days
Pre-course requirements:
Delegates do not necessarily need any previous PLC knowledge but should have an industrial background and an understanding of work place health & safety.
PROGRAMME:
- Basic PLC architecture
- Ladder logic, latching circuits
- Timers, counters and shift registers
- Input and output blocks
- Analogue and digital inputs and outputs
- Simple programming
- Fault finding
Outcomes:
Successful completion of the course will result in the issue of a SETA certificate of completion.
