1. Sleep well.

Sleep is the cornerstone of being healthy and is essential for our bodies and mind to function well. It affects our ability to learn and grow as well as our mood. Lack of sleep often makes us grouchy, impatient and prone to mistakes, so it becomes safety issue. Recommended minimum is between 6 to 8 hours each night, but it wildly depends on individual. As waking up early and having powerful morning routine that includes physical activity as well as meditation is one of the most often citied habit of successful people, it is essential to go to sleep early enough to ensure good night sleep.

2. Drink more water

The easiest switch to a healthier, happier you is to drink more water and avoid sugary, fizzy drinks. We should drink between 2-3 litres of water every day. To start your day right, drink a glass of water to give yourself a head start. And remember – by the time you experience the sensation of the thirst, you are already dehydrated, which can lead to headaches and loss of performance.

3. Keep active

When we were kids, being active was a natural state of being. Kids run, jump, climb and generally burst with excitement from the moment they wake up. The easiest way to fit more exercise into your lifestyle is to find sport you enjoy. Just 30 minutes of activity per day helps you de-stress, improve your posture, wellbeing and raise your energy levels.

4. Don't skip breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day for a reason – it kick-starts your metabolism and helps you to be alert and awake throughout the day. Protein rich nutritious breakfast gives you the energy you need to get things done and helps you focus at work or at school.
