Jack Phillips, Engineering Apprentice, employed by Nestle Waters, took part in SETA annual Charity Walk in Lyme Park to help raise money and support ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’

The 1,300 acre estate was the perfect location for the charity walk. As well as giving all the apprentices a chance to clear out our heads from our assignments and practical work, this walk has raised a lot of money for, in my eyes, an extremely helpful charity.

‘When You Wish Upon A Star’ is a local charity which pay for terminally ill children to have family holidays or even meet their favourite celebrity! This charity even goes so far as taking children to Lapland every year to meet the real Santa. The charity brings these children’s dream alive, making me proud to have taken part in this charity event.

At SETA I am rapidly progressing each day with my range of skills growing and growing. Even though I have only been here a few months, I challenge myself. Instructors here really do push me to my maximum ability, increasing my self-confidence in my work.”
