SETA are happy to be taking part in a record breaking attempt to create the world’s largest 3D printed DUCK!
The Great Duck Project” is an attempt by Remarkable STEAM, Inc. to set a record for the world’s largest 3D printed duck. The project is connecting 3D printers from all over the world by asking for various companies to print individual parts of the duck. The parts will be assembled later in April 2019 allowing this world record to be achieved.
Keith Challinor, SETA CAD Assessor said, “We have been allocated part no. 12. We have no idea which part of the duck we are printing but I’m sure we can hazard a guess once it is printed out”.
The 6ft tall duck will finally be constructed in its entirety on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the 8th annual Maker Faire Westport, Connecticut. Watch this space for further updates of the project.
