On Thursday 22nd July SETA staff and a few members of staff from our Apprentice employing companies embarked on our Annual Golf Tournament! The tournament was held at the glorious green of New Mills Golf Club. The tournament is a friendly competition which is a thank you from SETA to our apprenticeship clients.

On one of the hottest days of the year so far, our participants swung into action to win the prestigious Golf Tournament Winner 2021 trophy. The day started off with coffee and a breakfast barm before heading out on to the green. Competition was fierce with Mark Burton (Fairdeal), Steve McDonagh (Park Engineering) and Archie (Ballesteros) Moore from SETA taking the Group Winners trophy. Mark Burton from Fairdeal was the overall winner and Dean Shannon, James Cowden and Steve Kelly (Farrell Engineering) took trophies for Nearest the Pin. During the presentation at the clubhouse afterwards everyone agreed that it had been a great day but hope that it is at least 2 degrees cooler next year!

With our thanks to all participating companies and a huge thank you to the staff at New Mills Golf Club who were amazing.

To all who missed out this year, don’t miss out next year, get booked in early!
