Each year, SETA help The Wellspring in Stockport with things they may need, The Rucksack Appeal was a roaring success as was the food collection last year. The wellspring are such a worthy charity helping the homeless and disadvantaged people around Stockport.
With 2020 being such an unprecedented year and such a lot of families on furlough or losing their jobs, there is a serious risk of people going without food/using foodbanks/losing their homes. This being the case, we thought we would once again do a food harvest and split it between the Wellspring and Stockport Food bank.
We were delighted to see that our staff and students made extra effort and we collected double the amount we got last year and managed to give a wonderful offering to both charities!
You can donate, get help or find out more about the Wellspring through their website: thewellspring.co.uk . You can visit Stockport Foodbank at: stockport.foodbank.org.uK for further details on help over the Christmas period.
Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who donated to this appeal, your kindness and generosity has helped to make someone’s Christmas a little brighter!
