Environmental awareness in the workplace
The NEBOSH Environmental Awareness at Work qualification helps organisations introduce their workforce to environmental issues and the role employees play in improving organisational environmental performance.
Employees can apply their learning when they return to work, helping organisations reduce waste, improve energy efficiency, achieve cost savings and help avoid legal action. A sound environmental record can also provide an advantage in the modern marketplace as industry becomes more aware of its environmental impact.

Course information
Requirements, assessment and certification
Pre-course requirements
NEBOSH suggests that learners taking this qualification should have a minimum English proficiency level equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher. Learning is guided and supported by a class tutor.
Assessment
This is 1 day study course with suggested 3 hours self study time.
This qualification is assessed through an online 30-minute multiple-choice examination. A pass is 60% or more.
Certification
Learners who achieve a pass of 60% or more in the EAW unit receive a qualification parchment issued by NEBOSH.

Payment and resits
Payment is taken when the course booking is confirmed. Invoice payments must be made within 30 days or before the course starts, whichever is sooner. Examination resits incur an additional fee. All course fees are subject to VAT.
