NEBOSH and Great Britain’s Health and Safety Regulator, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), jointly developed this one-day qualification to show how non-complex incidents can be investigated effectively. By learning lessons and making improvements, organisations can help avoid similar incidents occurring in the future.

Course information
Requirements, assessment and certification
Pre-course requirements
NEBOSH suggests that learners taking this qualification should have a minimum English proficiency level equivalent to an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher.
Assessment
A practical assessment is completed at the end of the course. Learners are provided with a pack of evidence and shown a video of three witness interviews. They are asked to review the evidence, evaluate each interview and produce an action plan to help prevent a recurrence of an incident.
Certification
Successful completion of the assessment will result in the issue of a NEBOSH HSE Introduction to Incident Investigation certificate.

Payment and resits
Payment is taken when the course booking is confirmed. Invoice payments must be made within 30 days or before the course starts, whichever is sooner. Examination resits incur an additional fee. All course fees are subject to VAT.
